History 1911 Indy 500 footage

If this has been posted before I appologize. Found it while researching the Case cowl lamp I bought today.

J.I. Case had three cars in the race and one set on the pole. Finished 8th I think.

If it was posted before I didn't see it, prety cool. Love the music. Did you buy the cowl light because you need it? I have a friend that has case cars if you want to get rid of it.

 

I didn't need it, bought it because it was neat and I knew it was a rare piece.
