Does the 292 Chevy 6 cylinder engine have the same bell housing pattern as a SBC? I have one I'm thinking about building, still in a truck and can't see the bellhousing pattern.

The bellhousing is the same, but starting sometime in the mid-late 60s they changed the flywheel bolt pattern so it has 1/2" bolts and 3 dowels. So beware of that.
