Very nice score ! I would love to be that lucky just once !
I would love to find something like that and drive it just the way it is ! Hard to find one that is that original and in such great condition ! I hope you don't chop it all up into a hotrod , would be a real shame !

What a gem and what a luck! That photoshop was funny. Please don't rod it! At least not too radically....

This thing would rock at a Goodguys, Vintage drags or LSRU ! It has FUN written all over it. Obviously all the owners have been concervatives and taken care of it.

    Love it !

  9. Well I'm not a restorer on a restoration site so I would be remiss to tell you anything but to hot rod it.

Nice looking starting place for a tall T rod.

I would probably fix it drive sell it to a collector and buy a hot rod. it is nice. but with a v-8 and real brakes would be cool as well

  11. No, the wooden spokes were called, oddly enough, "spokes". The "felloe" is the inner rim that the, outer, demountable rim bolts to.

If it were mine, I'd rod it. I'd get much more use and enjoyment out of it that way.

If you are looking for something to drive I say rod it. On the other hand, If you want a project and something to tinker with keep it stock. Just my $.02

I think you are a lucky man to find a car like this one and actually be able to get the owner to sell it. I voted to rod it but after looking at the pix, I would leave it as Henry made it.

I would get it running, drive it, look at it, then - then - to each his own, you only live so long and some one else will enjoy it. Your call - thanks for posting this old T.

  18. Nice car.....good find.

That's one that if you don't want to drive it as an original, I would
say clean it up good and get it running well, then sell to a Model T
guy. Then go look for the next project to rod.

  19. "Chop it and drop a big block in it" ....... BORING !!
It would just be another "belly ****on".

I'm a hot rod and custom guy, and personally, wouldn't want a restored T. But I think these days, maybe some things should be left alone. I saw the episode where Boyd got a nice original T, and got rid of everything but the body to build a Boyd rod. That's all I can think about when I look at your car, so I'd say leave it alone, or sell it to some 'tiquer who will appreciate it, then use the money to buy a body and some hot rod parts.
