i am putting a 20 circuit harness made by mr roadster that came from speedway motors in my neighbors 53 dodge pick up and converting to 12 volt. it is a total nightmare. i have built hot rods my whole life, and have never went through such a nightmare. i am getting ready to do my 48 f-1 and have decided to make my own fron scratch

You will pay more, but you can't go wrong with Ron Francis. I've tried others, just prejuduced I guess. My own driver has had a RF kit in it since 85 or so, still problem free.

Spent a lot of time in the 12v industry , one thing I can tell you is that if the plastic the block is made of is cheap a heavy current draw it can literally melt down , I have removed a few of them so just check quality before you install it. A few bucks saved now could cost you a lot down the road .

started working with my american autowire kit highway 22 and its really nice so far. i am far from an electrician and its going smooth for me. my ignition was already 12 volt so i figured i would keep the new stuff for when i get the body fixed up nice. what are you guys recommendation?

I actually started with the headlights b.c i have none and its my main focus. that and brake lights. I ran the dimmer switch to the on/off light switch. then i ran the high beam/ low beam/ grounds to the headlights. I figured i could touch the battery with the hot wire and the lights come on with the switch on but nothing happened. I have not hooked up parking lights yet so is that why the lights didnt come on? I am going to finish it properly just wanted to make sure my wiring was connected right
