Bob Stonoff, a longtime hot rodder and car collector in Tempe, Arizona has decided to sell off most of his collection of cars with a few exceptions, namely his all steel 36 ford cabriolet. Most of these cars are project types. Bob's place if fairly well known by many of the local Hamb members who frequent his place for parts and other hard to find items.

There will be an open house of his warehouse on Aug 13 (Saturday) from 8:30 to 11:30 right after Second Saturday at So Cal on McDowell.

The address is 800 North Miller Road just south of the intersection of Miller and Curry in Tempe, Arizona. If you have any questions, you can give me a call at 480 628 3763.

I'll post a few pics of the cars....

Just a side note, I'll be at the So CAl speedshop on early on Saturday morn and then head over to Bob's place for 8 am. Hope to see some Hamb members there.

Lotsa good stuff down there! Saw a couple of project cars sold, and the good news is that Orrest will make appointments for the next week or so.

Well Gents....Its that time again. As previous postings have noted, I'll be opening again this Saturday for Bob at 7AM. The location is 800 North Miller Road in Tempe Arizona. It's just south of the corner of Miller and Curry.

For those of you who are out of state, contact a local Hamber that would be willing to inspect any of the cars for you. For those of you on the east coast, the sheet metal is probably the most important.

I'll try to make a list of cars that are available and their prices and post on the for sale section of the hamb. This is one of those rare opportunities that there's still time to get in on the action.

Call me at 480 628 3763 if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
    Orest

Wow. Is it strange that this is the first I've heard of Bob or his collection?

I may have to make the trek over to check this out...

All the iron you see in the pics is for sale. I imagine some of the rust belt hot rodders would love to get this stuff into their shops.

I spoke with Bob yesterday and he's opening up on Saturday, October 1 from 7AM to noon.

Lots of old iron from the mid 30's still for sale. The parts are also pretty cool.

If you're around, stop in a say hello
