Hi I'm Dick. I have been into street rods since 1973 and am currently building my 5th old car. NSRA lifetime member #853 from 4-75. This current car is a 1948 Ford Convertible with LT1, 4L60E, Scotts independant front with power rack, airbags around, and 4 wheel disks. My project has been stalled for 4 years while we moved from the Denver area (Lakewood) to near Rocky Mount, NC and then ended up going back to work. I really thought I was going to retire 3 years ago but you all know how that goes. However, I just did retire in mid July and am getting ready to continue the build. I've not participated in a forum before - but I have searched for ideas now and then.
