Same manufacturer, but what's the quality difference ? I'm looking at the Auto Meter Z series , but Auto Gauge has similar gauges at a lower price.

    Thanks,
    Bob

I went with the Auto Meter streetrod series simply because they had the look I wanted. Antique beige with the fish tail needles.

I bought the cheaper auto gauge just because i couldnt see spending 100 or so dollars on a 3 gauge pod set.

Im happy with my auto gauge and all the guys i run around with have the auto gauge.

autometer has impeccable customer service and will go out of the way to help you even if the problem wasnt thier fault.

auto guage? have no idea but I'm betting they arent even in the same ball park when it comes to customer service and product quality.

Autometer does have a great customer service. It took us awhile to find the problem, but they stuck with it.

'Autogage' Is Autometer's cheaper 'entry level' line of gages, sold at discount parts stores, Walmart, Kmart, etc.

I got some autogauge gauges from a friend for free, the oil gauge has a little oil in it,the temp gauge sticks some times.I think they are made in china. you get what you pay for. which is what I paid.

I believe they are Autometer spec'd, but made in China/Indonesia/Etc... They seem to be ok for budget guages.
