I am in need of a welder and see Eastwood has welders at a pretty good price and they have a 3 year warranty. Most of their other stuff is pretty good just wondering if their welders are worth it. Anyone have any experience with them?

It has two wire speeds (fast/slow) and two amperage selections (high/low). The one I used (it belonged to my brother) was rated @ 85 amps max. If you're only going to weld 1/8" stuff??? you'll get along fine...
P.S. you'll need an $90 shielding gas kit and a $200 bottle of gas...

Well the 175 was the one I was looking at. It is rated up to 5/16 steel and also comes with a spool gun for up to 1/4 aluminum.

You only need the bottle, and mine (purchased/filled) was definitely under $200.

Happy with my 135, comes with everything you need to hook up the gas, filled tank wasn't much at all. Can easily weld 1/4".

I just purchased the TIG 200 from Eastwood. It came Friday so I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. Comes with everything but a bottle. I will let you know what I think once I get a chance to play with it.
