Hot Rods Drag Racing PIONEER Bill "Madman" Phillips to be honored

Former Top Alcohol ace the late great and all round curmudgion Bill Madman Phillips will be inducted as a Greater vancouver Motorsports pioneer Oct 9th . Bill along with 14 others in 5 disciplines of motorsport will be honored. This is the 11th year the society has honored these greats. Along with Bill will be drag/sand and salt racer Roger manson, NHRA hall of famers Taylor Soon and McNichol, rodder lorne kerr and upholstery whiz/restorer arnie Schwab.
The cermony rtakes place noon -4 pm at the Croation centre on Commercial drive in downtown Vancouver BC.
if in the area bring your specialty car and attend. Rock and Roll hall of famer DJ Red Robinson will be the keynote speaker .
