'48 Ford Coupe Project

Anybody out there know where I can pick up some gl*** rear fenders for my '48 Coupe project? Fairlane Co. used to produce them 2.5 inches wider than stock, which is perfect for a wider tire sans tubbing or cutting up the stock fenders. They've been out of business since the economy tanked in '07 and I've been looking for a pair ever since.

I don't see rear fenders, but it might be worth a call to verify...

 

slice up a pair of metal ones and add what you need

 

I'm trying to avoid going to that kind of effort, man. May end up doing just that, though.

Plenty of original fenders out there. Cut up and fill.
