Customs Chicago customs where do you hang out?

The lot is clean and the church had pizzas from Chesdans and hotdogs and hamburgers. They said they were working on getting more food. They had a lot of cars there,it's not to bad.

 

Greg , What happened ? Fall asleep on the couch again, car don't work , wifey dear made other plans ? Haven't seen you in a while . You know if your car dont run the new place is in walking distance to your house .

Not a bad turnout for the first time at a new location. Hard to tell if attendance was less or not because of the size , layout of the lots and the rest of the place. The Lemont guys are pretty good at knowing how to organize stuff . There is food ( I believe the restaurants from 159th are catering in ), rest rooms and a stage in the recreation building. Only real complaint were the mosquitoes . For some reason they seemed to be out in force last night .

Any one have any info on this show at the weiner farm, hehe, you know the show at the Vienna hot dog factory at Damen and Halsted?

Sunday September 25th 11 to 4. Registration is at 10am. In the Vienna parking lot. The banner on the fence says It's open to cars '86 and older.

If coming from the South, they would be a few blocks from the Northbound Damen Exit. They are at the corner of Damen/Elston/Fullerton.

If the weather looks good I'll swing over there in Miss Bagina for a while.

 

Despite the off/on rain I brought the Mercury out, they had a decent turnout overall. Retarded Sparks CC had 5-6 cars out. I did not take pics.

 

I know, the weather stunk. Good to hear that a decent showing turned out. Better luck next year iI guess.

 

Total car turnout, which included a lot of muscle cars too, I'd say ~75. It was solid despite the weather.

 

I started there and my car took a **** on Lincoln and Damen! It felt like it was starving for fuel. Got back home and switched to the daily. I saw your car there, but I couldn't find you. Walked over there to it a couple of times then split because of the rain. STUPID RAIN! I blame the rain for my car problems

 

I got a leak in my faucet.... can you come now!

 

Bummer cuz I ran out of people to talk to.

I'm the 6 foot tall half Japanese guy.

 

DAMN! I wasn't far away, but didn't go. I figured it wasn't worth the h***le with traffic and rain over there...

 

Anyone down for getting together again? I've been driving my car like crazy on the weekends, even on I94 to clean the pipes out.

 

It's going to be a nice weekend.

 

Anything going on Saturday? I'm booked Sunday but I want to put a few miles on the GTO before it gets put away.
