Hey, New guy from Lancaster PA, I'm 21 and really into the old stuff. Currently I have a 1948 and 51 Ford F1 and a 53 F100. The 53 is a slow and long term project but it's been making progress. The 48 is my main project currently and the 51 has been turning into a donor truck more or less. I'm trying to build the 48 with a "rat rod theme look" for now. Its going to be all original but I want to make a daily driver out of it and it's on a tighter budget so it's probably gonna be flat black for awhile. I'm also big into building vintage Triumph bobbers. Anyway that's about it. Also is there any members or shops around the Lacaster PA area here who could help me patch up some rust in my original fenders and other things? Thanks! Shane
It's not really a rat by any means, it's just not show quality or near perfect. It's all ford f1 and solid, but not clean and shiny. I couldnt really think of a better word then rat rod look with the flat paint and all. How about traditionally aged?
Welcome from Brockway PA. nice rides! Wanna sell one of them? haha. I have a shop, a little ways from you, but i would be glad to help anyway i can. Good luck!
Aloha from the 50th state. I grew up in Altoona. It's great to see you "young guns" with interest in the old stuff. That's what keeps hot rodding alive. Us geezers won't be around forever. Shaka!, Big Al
