I would use the lizzard skin heat and sound. Have used it at work and works very well. I believe you use the sound insulation first and then put the heat over that. can be brushed on or sprayed wont trap moisture like the stick on stuff.
Look at cascadeaudio.com. Send 'em an email with your questions and concerns. Their support is outstanding. They have a liquid product that gets sprayed on the floor and firewall then a sound deadener that gets applied over it.
Lobucrod's insulation will work great for you. 1/4" sheets works great for heat and keeps the noise down too. http://lobucrod.com/
X3 for lobucrod. I just put his insulation in my 40 pickup cab. I used two rolls and a couple cans of spray glue.
I used dynamat (just the foil with black adhesive) on everything, then on the floors glued carpet underlay (the kind removalists use as blankets) then layed the carpet ontop. Firewall did the same but put 1/2" dense cell foam between the carpet underlay and dynamat. Works well with the heat and noise. If i did it again (sorry, when) i will use an insulation that has the foam or something else incorporated into it.
First off this is not my auction Here is the Ultimate in heat barrier and sound insulation, Called Zero Clearence. Not cheep but worth every penny. I have it on the fire wall and on the underside of the floor, above the muffler. I am using Ebay to show you all of the specs. Read the entire add to the bottom of the page. This is a deal, $100+ for a 42x48 sheet http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUTO...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27bec259e0 Hard to find on the open market. If you look under most new cars you will find this between the muffler and the floor. Dodge use's this to keep the rear Quarters on the Viper from melting, from the exhaust crossover.
