Hi there! I'm just getting around to tearing apart my '51 Chevy. This is my first big project so I've got alot of questions. Right now I'm focusing on the frame work and suspension. In the meantime, what would you guys recommend for a small block 350... carb? or fuel injection? Thanks in advance for your input!
Welcome, Erica, from SW Nebraska. Much to learn and share here. Keep us updated with words and photos as the 51 progresses.
Thanks flatheadguy... I'm really excited about this... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70073 ...fabbing my own MII soon
Welcome from Trinidad. 350/5speed would do it. 25 yrs ago my brother put a 327/4spd in a 54 Belair, put 2" risers in the front end and a set of 58 Chey fender well headers, it run sweet. Not bad for a Ford guy. Lee
Hello and welcome from Ft. Collins. I bet that thing would move pretty good with a mild chebby 350 (smaller 4bbl carb, dual plane intake, headers and the proper cam).
Mr. Rogers, I was lurking through your metal work photo album and I'm speechless. Very impressive and thanks for sharing.
