So any cool or none crazy routes to take from Wi to the pileup. The roadster is not that crazy about 70mph and grooved roads at least not with biplys. Thanks
Thanks for the idea and did it a few time way back in the day. I hate to say I got lost a few times with all its turns sweet ride
I can tell ya to take I-55 south to I-72 east and exit at 144 take a left at the bottom of the ramp and then take a left at the next red light,or if your lucky you may run onto some guys exiting and could follow them in.I'm not sure of where your starting point is,but this is the best I could come up with, hope this helps.
John If I where you I would run down 51 all the way to decatur, It would be 4 lane all the way for you, Wrap around bloomington, When you get into forsyth head east on 72 one exit get off on it (RT48) head south toward decatur The sleep in will be on your left as you p*** Mcdonalds, And the show grounds are right next to the sleep inn, Some of us are meeting at the sleep inn around 1 and we are going to a bar that serves some pretty tasty lunch, Have a safe trip and give me a call when you are getting close,
If you get near Montgomery al, take 231 south until you bet to Brundidge al. Turn right on Alabama 10, go all the way to Camilla, ga, turn right on US 19 and go all the way to Chiefland Florida, turn right on us 27 to Ocala.. You will find it a great ride and not necessarily slower than going interstate. Alabama 10 turns into Georgia 37, stay on 37 to camilla.
john you jag... you need to be home supporting your lady in her big run sunday and really if you want just follow the smoke trail from me 47-54-48 tk
ah, but the lure of the pile up is strong, besides, it's not like john is going to be right along side her the entire way giving her support. as long as he's there at the finish, it should be ok. i think you'd be safe if you left sunday morning around maybe 10ish. afterall, you do drive a hotrod. you'll make it
Ha Ha Ha the roadster wants to run and seem like its got two speeds now stop and balls out, That sound like the way to go. I can pickup 47 in? Mel, 51 is nprth of me and have to get a hard map to really see were it is. My gps keeps giving me a boaring route. I should be there to grab some food and Beer thanks buddy and keep a cold one handy. I am bring a bunch of tools and some extras but you never know. I hope I dont need to usa any on my 32 or anyone car as well, lets all have a safe trip.
Rick the lure of the pileup and the last one made is a Must. I hate to say I cant bring any food beside a bag of polish beef sticks and maybe some jerky. Space in the 32 kill the idea and look forward to chatting with ya drive safe.
Thanks Mike and will have to leave a bit earlier for the exta drive time. I really love them small town and the stop lights dont bug me. See you guys soon.y/B]
