I got a set of 55 F100 front brakes and I ordered the speedway bearing kit. The kit comes with bearings, races and seals. The rear bearing fits but the hub looks like it has the races made into them. Also the front bearing and the rear seal from the kit is to large. Here are some pics, I am trying to determine if they are or what are they. I am installing them on a 46 from spindle.

  5. The new bearings in the pictures have the correct numbers on them. Looks like you possibly have post '56 hubs that don't adapt to early Ford spindles. If you have the old bearings or you could knock out one of the races and see if the bearing or race number is for a later year F-100 to confirm this.

The drums may be usable as the same front drum was used from '53 up to '62-'63 or so.

F-1 and F-100 drums can be either smooth or any of several ribbed versions.

I have a rear bearing I will get the number from. Are the f100 spindles hard to get?

the post '56 hubs have smaller od on the bearing races than the pre '56

    pre '56 inner od 2.717"
    post '56 inner od 2.5630"

i wonder with a little machining the post '56 hub might work.
