From what I have read on this thread, Jeem has said it best. For those worried because pre reg is filled, skip the worries. Your not being left out, unless you choose to stay at home. The only thing pre reg will get you is a spot in the shade, and even then you'll have to get there early and might have to wait in line. Paso is more than just a car show. Pack a cooler, some lawn chairs, gas it up and go. Plenty of people will still get to see your ride. And the surrounding area of Paso is some of California's best. Have your own cruise. Enjoy the weekend and be a part of the hot rod community, just by simply showing up. see you all there, j dub
I have only registered once. I have had a BLAST every year. My car isn't going this year. If It was, i would go registered or not! FONZI
Just go off the phone with Penny again. She's gonna take any of the ones that she gets in today and add them. I guess it's a good thing we sold out so early but it's gonna be a hell of a weekend. Penny's getting a ton of calls because of this thread. So if you are concirned about your registration, give me a PM and I can check on it for you. she's go a lot on her plate right now. Craig
Here's my take on the whole thing... Please come whether you are registered or not. The show is the show, but it is also every parking lot that surrounds the park. It is the old A&W, the bowling alley, the unorganized saturday night cruising, the gas station, the side streets. It is an experience that is not to be missed and it is all the better for the cars and the people that come regardless of registration. So if you are cool, and you groove on your car....I hope to meet you there. (on the other hand, if you are a tool...doesn't matter how cool your car is, stay home). See ya there, True
anyone staying at the Best Western there in Paso. My dad grabbed a room there and was wondering what the parking situation was like.
Paso's a PARTY. If you don't go, you can't party. First couple times i went i didn't tke a car(didn't know what to expect), and had a blast. The best thing about bringing a car (besides the obvious) is having BASE CAMP to come to for a drink from time to time. The Gas Station's Snack Shop across the street from the park is a great subs***ute for that. Don't forget to support the September Paso! It's gonna die if we let it. Let's NOT!
Spoke with Penny again tonight. There have been a couple of cancellations at the Best Western and Holiday Inn xpress. Try giving them a call. Craig
