Lucked out with wall to wall sunshine today. Traffic backed up on Highway 2 for a few miles in the morning. This sold while I was standing there for $2,100. This sedan sold early.
This is my friends car . Its actually a 1953/4/5/6/7 Chevy all grafted together. Its actually an incredible buy. Not really traditional as it has an LT1 in it with overdrive. The car was totally stripped and all rotissoried. Lots of work for the price. It only has a couple thousand miles on it since built. Not bad for the price There were a ton of deals out there today!!!
I sold a bunch of misc stuff today. I stayed in our booth all day. Didnt want to be tempted to buy anything, I'm trying hard to stop ac***ulating =) Pouring down rain right now, I dont think Ill go back tomorrow.
I thought it wasn't open friday? Doesn't matter anyways. I got a huge wad of cash to spend and I'm wicked sick....no 32 shell for me.
Set up is on Friday. There was a very decent shell/insert (insert missing every other bar) with horse collar trim/radiator cap for 650.00.
Thanks. Here are a few more. Six 97's: At least two plating businesses had displays. 32 Hudson pu I was hoping to run into a flexplate cover for my Ford C4 transmission but no luck. Mine's exposed right now: I'll go work up some more pics of cars or trucks for sale at the swap meet and post em.
That green '28 sedan was on C/L for a couple weeks at $7500, apparently with no joy. Just shows that live swap meets still work eh?
I've got tons of pics but here's a few more to finish: A Packard heading home: Steve McCool's art is something. He's from Kirkland and has a website at www.stevemccoolart.com Some of the work by the metal shaper from Maple Valley, WA I'll end with a rusty Stude. Looks like decent weather this morning for the meet's second day. Xoot
It was a great day. Good weather, Found lots of good parts and met up with some old friends. Thanks for the pics, here are a couple more.
Picked up a frame for my HA/GR cheap. There were some good deals but there were a few guys on glue as well. Saw a couple Offenhauser intakes for stovebolts that cost more than they do brand new. I was looking for the older fellow who always has a bunch of vintage carbs rebuilt and ready to go but I didn't find him. I was hoping to pick up a pair of 94's from him. Shawn
Thanks guys for sharing. the friends i made when i lived in Redman and the swap meets are what i miss about the pnw. Thanks dirt t
aw, doesn't matter. I feel worse today than yesterday. I can barely even talk my throat is so sore from coughing. thanks.
Thanks for sharing the photos. I forgot about it but didn't have any extra spending money to take along anyhow.
