Sun Tach

I have a 8 grand sun super tack an original one from the 60's will it work with a 6 cyl motor or were they one just for 6 cyl motors.

 

If it has a sender box. You need a 6 sender box. If it does not require a box then it will work. Maybe a switch on the back for 4-6-8.

 

Thanks 325w it does not have a sender box and no switch like the newer tachs to set it for the number of cylinders. I don't want to burn it up or anything like that.
