Trying to id the guages in the center of the Black Panthers dash...thought they were Buick...and still might be..The Black Panther had a Buick speedo and radio in it..so they may be Buick..hopefully someone will pitch in to solve this problem...since the car was completed in 1954 most likely the car theyre from is from about then or before..possibly till about 1957 if the guages were added laterthe second picture is a guage I think is the same as shown?

Some remarks below talk about a 2nd guage that is no longer pictured...the second guage pictured as of 10/12 is what I think the matching guage

Yep, 55 Buick Super or Roadmaster. The smaller series cars, Special and Century would be different.

I am confused...I need to know what the guages are in the old picture..not the single new picture I took...no need to id the single picture because its not what I need...just that it looks to be in the same family as the one in the old picture if that makes any sense...

  5. Looks like they read "GASOLINE" and "TEMPERATURE" if that helps anyone with the ID. I'm at a loss as to where they originated though.

Now that I look at the old pic blown up, it looks like '54 Buick guages - from the big-series Super or Roadmaster. A special or Century would be different.

The larger knob looks like a headlight switch, a pull-out style, and the smaller ones would be heater switches from any '54 Buick. One small switch was an on/off, the other was low/off/high for the heater motors.
