Howdy! I've been lurking for a while and read some instructions. So here's my introduction. I really admire the cars and trucks and artwork here although I don't have a rod and don't have any talent - except if I keep practicing with GIMP I might be able to dip my toe in the Photoshop thread. I've helped friends with a little rodding stuff - enough to know that helping is way easier than doing your own. I'm 56 and I'm doing what they call early retirement. So I'm saving my pennies and maybe I can get a project to try to learn on someday.
Welcome fellow Missourian. Look forward to seeing some of those photoshop skills. And careful, once the hot rod bug bites....
Thanks for all the welcomes, everyone. Fitzgerald, I posted a couple of my GIMP results near the end of the Photoshop thread this morning, but I have to warn you they're not good. I'm teaching myself how to use the GIMP by basically pushing ****ons and clicking options and seeing what happens.
