I got a friend who's wantin' to take in some great auto events/shows/museums during September or October this year. He's doin' a road trip of sorts and would like to pre-plan a route. Any Kansas folks got ideas as to what's hot an' not come Fall 2005? The Guy's into Fords and runs a mildy moded '46 pick-up and a '35 Cabriolet.

    Cheers fer any info. Koops.....

Thanx fer all info. Marc. Mucho appreciated.

Yeah the HAMB Drags is the 27th. August, so a little too early for mah Buddies trip. Pity though, he's somethin' of a restorer. He's 'bin fixin' up ols Ford v8s since the '50's an' that's a real rarity over here in England. I'll get to postin' some of his motas soon.

Thanx everyone (sodbuster, indashop,...) for your inputs.

  6. If he's a "restorer" of sorts- and shows are thin at that time- why not set up a garage crawl of Hambers shops to go see what they have and are working on......he may be converted into a hot rodder!

September 16, 17, 18th. Ottawa Kansas. THis show should not be missed. It's huge! I believe nothing newer than '72.

Yeah, Pioneer Village for sure... shows are slowing down that time of year here, and all i see is a bunch of billet in my area anyway. We have a cool Museum here, it's centered around Chryslers, but it's still really an awesome time-trip. We have a huge antique store here who handles alot of old car-related stuff, gaspumps, signs, hubcaps... We are in Ellis, right on Interstate70, a few miles west of Hays Kansas (that's the biggest dot on the map near us), I'd take your buddy out for ribs and a tour if he comes close!

Or he could ride along with someone in the KCSP (Kansas City Speed & Power) reliability run. I am not sure on the date for it though, it is Ryan's gig.

I know the left turn circuit is supposedly fixed, I haven't been, probably won't get there anytime soon.
