So yeah 'splorin, went to the inlaws house in the middle of somewhere's and it was a wet dreary day so I could n't go perch fishin and I went rollin about the country side over hill and dale and I caught this little cutie just sittin in this driveway in a town.

Oh yeah, she is all there.

So I made this big mistake on this 'splorin venture as I had the "NO" machine sittin next to me.

I was sort of surprised because the " NO" machine actually says " Gee I could see myself driving that." Yeah man so could I, There was a brief moment of happy oc***ion there but then a sort of compromise to that statement came with the quoting of the dastardly "But you have to sell this this an this statements. Dang, just a no woulda worked. 'sides the economy has my **** spanked a bit and so does this college tuition dealio.

A guy could fall hard for a little pretty truck such as this, so I gave it a look from afar and took a few pics and let her be. I waved at the lady across the street and bet you could chat her up about it.

I didn't ring the bell on the house, it don't look lived in much. There is no trash about, just this purty little gal, she has a few weeds a growin so she's been sittin a bit. So I left her rather than stir the pot and make it tough on the next guy.

Now this area it just broke my heart straight to hell, the tin monsters came through it hard and ate the hell out of 2 awesome yards there, I was pissed, but I became happy to see this. I think a complete truck like this fully dressed just sitting there is a great sight. She ain't even been trinket picked by the *** holes, she still has her original badging the gate and lights and all.

So I'm gona share this with a fellow HAMBER, but I want a follow up from the guy who does score her. And I want to tell you, if you rat rod this pretty little girl I'm gonna sink my 12 boot in the mushy end of your back side.

I see this dressed in black in full trim with a baby hemi in it and the original wires left on her, yes they are still good. No chop, she's too ***y for a chop, she needs her trim cause she's a cl***y lady.

OK, so I'll tell you lads where I saw her, be polite, cause another could be in love with her. And keep in mind. I'm only sharin cause I don't want her make into a gol damn chinese lawn mower.

She is in ....oh chest pain...no. East central corner of south dakota. In the town of Big stone city. If you go to the lake side of town along Big stone lake you will see her sitting at this house She is about 3/4 mile down the road that runs along the lake on the right.

Remember, be respectful, don't piss the person off and no damn rat **** on this honey.

Oh yeah. Break my heart and tell me how good I did if you want to. I personally think she's fairly rare, and if you know exactly what she is, let us know.

Not so much, it's about 30 feet closer than the truck, see how big the door jamb on the daily seems to be. In reality you could hug the tree.

Looks like bait in a hot rodder trap. Hot rodder goes to get a look-see and...... SUDDENLY the ground opens up! He slides down a long tube and lands in a room filled with the other 12 hot rodders who came to look!

Oh man, that's pretty sharp. Wish I could find one around here. In the words of the legendary Johnny Cash, "I keep my eyes wide open all the time".

Wouldnt it have to be in a wooden structure with hay to be considered a barn find?

I love this - great thread.

I wish it as closer (oh, and I didn't have a "NO" machine of my own). :)

A good way to start what has been an otherwise dreary Wednesday AM. Francisco, the "no machine" has just become a permanent fixture in my literary thesaurus. You do Bill Shakespeare proud.

I always imagined a nasty snaggle tooth chick parking something like that in her driveway so that guys would come to her house.

For well over 40 years there was an unfinished chopped 32 5W Coupe sitting under a tree in a storage lot south of Houston near the town of Friendswood. The ground around the car had a thick layer of tarps which had covered it and died in the weather. The body was still nice, the back panel with 41-48 Chevy taillamps, the deck lid nice and a 21 stud flattie long block laying sideways across the rails in front of the firewall. I stopped and looked it and talked to the storage lot guy for about 30 monutes. He said he had been paid yearly for the storage fees along with a tarp stipend to keep the car covered and that the car had been there since before he owned the storage lot. Hundreds had stopped and tried to find the owner but the owner insisted on anonymity and refused to allow the man to forward offers or correspondence to him. He was from Birminham AL. The car is now gone so what happened? You guys tell me.
