Hi, I just scored a 1960 F100 panel wagon for $200. It was a delivery vehicle for the budweiser distributorship here back in the day. I started tearing it down today and the passenger door wont open because it hits the fender. The front clip needs replaced anyways so where do I need to unbolt the front clip from the body to take it off in one piece? I found the 2 main bolts by the radiator core support but there has to be somewhere else holding it on. Or do I have to take all of those 1/2" bolts out? Thatd be a pita.
I'm not posting in there until I get some decent pictures, and i've already used the search function. Nothing comes up under front clip removal front end bolts f100 frontclip nothing.

Nope I just felt like being an ass. Lol try looking at the inside of the fenders then inside next to the firewall
Yep and there are always a couple that they liked to hide and make hard to reach. I'm not sure if that Ford was one of them but sometimes there are fender bolts that go in from the inside of the cab up under the dash on the sides if you have everything you can see loose and it is still fastened at the top corners.
I pulled everything I can see and hooked the hoist to it and it started picking the whole thing up haha. Il have to see if I can find them.
There are three studs on the back edge of the fenders, and an "L" bracket to the cowl under the back edge of the hood. There are something like 80!, bolts in that entire front end sheet metal.
Inside the door hinges or inside the cab near the door hinges? The pass fender got pushed into the door so it won't open. Whats the best way to get the fender off?
Get a light so you can see. The bolt is accessed through a square hole near the top hinge. Next bolt is about halfway down on the fender edge accessed through another hole. Then bottom bolt. Next don"t forget the bolts going through the rubber strap at the bottom of the inner fender wells. Probably have to use a small pry bar to get door to release grip on fender. Top edge of fenders kind of set on a lip, so you have to lift up as you are pulling forward. Just starting on my 5th 57 Ford panel. Lots of luck when you go to take the grille loose from the fenders later.
You said the front end is shot? Put a chain in the fenderwell and give it a gentle yank!!! That door will open then. LOL
Spend the money and get an assembly manual for all your vehicles, they are worth every cent and show what bolts go where and how many.
