Event Coverage Pomona Swap meet,moving?

just heard the news that the Pomona swap is moving...possibly to Irwindale speedway?Who here knows , the rest of the story..

your chain is being jerked. I don't buy it. Maybe it will show up on the Urban Legends T.V. program.

 

i cant imagine that.....Irwindale wouldnt have even close to enough room for that

 

If it moved to Irwindale, then it wouldn't be the "Pomona" Swapmeet any longer then, would it?

 

i know that there have been a couple swaps at irwindale recently. i think 2 weeks ago. but havent heard anything about pomona moving

 

haha I thought that same thing but didnt wanna say it!

 

Irwindale already has a swap.
Venue is way to small to move it.

We hear these rumors all the time. Usually, it&#8217;s when someone is trying to start a &#8220;new&#8221; swap meet like ours in Fontana or elsewhere. We have shows booked through the end of 2012 and have no intention in leaving the Fairplex. We are about to start our 37<SUP>th</SUP> year at the Fairplex and as long as all keeps going well, we will be there for many more years to come. Thanks for your concern and we hope to see you this Sunday, October 16<SUP>th</SUP>.

I wish they would move it up the coast somewhere - we don't have any good swaps on the central coast.

 

Holy **** that swap meet is five years older than me!!!

 

It never ceases to amaze me of all the baloney people believe. The swap meet is only booked till December 2012 because the world is going to end on December 21, 2012.
