To Pink, Or Not to Pink.

I like pink, on the right car. Wouldn't have any troubles driving one.

 

Think I'll post that killer Ford around town here that's pink and black....too much!
And yes - someone mentioned the pink in the '50s and it WAS Mamie Eisenhower that prompted it. Same with all the pink bathrooms of the period - Mamie Pink

 

I can't do it. I've never owned a pink car, and I never will.

There are some really nice cars out there that are pink, but I don't want one.

 

i'm doing 1 better - fenderless coupe - tan body, radiator shell & headlight buckets - bright orange frame, suspension, motor & trans - bright green steel wheels - black headers, black scoop, black bigs & littles

 

The wall tile in my bathroom is done up that way... Pink with black trim. Gag!

Here's our car. It was a pink color when it was new, I think it was called dusty rose. Our painter matched Vicki's toenail polish when we had it painted.
I have NO trouble driving it, and don't really care if anyone else does. I'm OK with that.

 

I agree with everyone that it must be the right car. I do recall a few Zocchi cars being pink and looking "right". One was around locally for a while, but I can't find a pic. I think it was a 63 Olds. Anyway, here are a few on his site now....

I had to do some paint and mechanicals on my freinds mid fifties Dodge LeFeme . The saving grace it had a factory hemi in it so when the wife wanted to go out in her car at least you had some testoserone injected in your drive.

about a month and a half ago i almost bought a 56 f100 on ebay that was pink just to save the poor thing and paint it a different color, it was a project and it shockingly went past 4-5 grand. Pink on a car is fine and can look good but on a truck is just wrong

 

I came close to dragging a pink and black 55 dodge 2 door hard top out of a junkyard so thats the closest I came to a pink car.

 

No never drive a pink car. Now please send me the details on that 58 Buick. Really though if you're not interested I am, because I'd drive a pink car and I want a 58 Buick.

 

If I bought a cl***ic 50's car that was pink fine. But I would never paint a car that color.

 

Its all pink on the inside :0
