Started modifying an F1 Trans Crossmember for my AV8 pickup project. It still needs some tweaks here and there and some pock marks to fill. P***enger side is close, drivers side still needs some heat and a bend to get the bottom flange to meet up with the bottom of the frame rail. The right angle ends that were cut off in the first pic will go back on once the rest fits right. I think I'm going to fill the old brake/clutch mount holes then move them over once I get the steering box/column in. Tweak it, check it, repeat. You know how it goes. Sure beat sittin' in front of the TV tonite. Will post some pics of the finished product when it's done.

looks good, I did mine with the bottom bent up too. I've been debating what to do with the pedal mounts. I think it will be easy to fill and redrill rather than move the original metal.

yeah thats what i meant. i will fill the old holes and re-drill them when i get the location figured out. i was thinking of riviting it in rather than bolts. my brother has a bunch of rivites and the tool for installing them.
