Olde English White (cream) with a light gold top?

Or shake things up a bit, Cream on the bottom with a shiny Black top - metalic if necessary...

Kustoms should be a bright color...HOK Lime Time green comes to mind (altho I'm partial to greens). The new Champagne colors would look classy on the Caddy...and Caddys should look classy. Light colors tend to make the car look bigger and show off the curves more...black tends to shorten things, in the interior it tends to close up the car...and it'll make the car's interior hotter (temp wise) in the summer.

I did my Caddy in lavendar ( I call it Lollipop cuz it was kustom mixed) and a darker purple (1955 Ford Regency Purple) two tone...

    40StudeDude, that car is incredible.

and layenbodyon22's, I'd hate to be in your shoes......Your car looks amazing already, finding a color to give it the finishing touch is a monumental task. For me, it would have to be black. All black, with every single piece of the chrome done in a gun metal grey

So many options, ...gotta admit that it looks like it wouldn't be a stretch to get it straight enuf for black, and it would look killer. The '53 HT is about my favorite Caddy! ...another option, how about a soft medium green solid in a bit of an olivey hue? With a beige interior or beige/green combo. Maybe beige leather & green/beige cloth... You'll figure it out, ...at times I've thought up ump-teen different colors for a given project, & then done something totally different on the day it went in the booth! Nose it [but keep the mascot]/deck it/and loose the handles & script, just keep it simple and classy!

    X 2! Maybe even a silver top

  20. Hyundai has a coarse metallic black cherry color that I have been thinking would look great on a big curvy car. But I'm nobody, paint it the way that trips YOUR trigger. Then you will not grow tired of it

I totally agree with this statement some of the newer brownish colors look bad ass. Might want to check out some lighter greens too ,some of those look good also.

  22. I can't help you with your color other than to say I like bright colors for custom rides. Did just want to say I love your car and it's going to look good no matter what color you do it.

In the early 70s, Chrysler had a real dark blue/navy that had a very shiny lacquer type finish (Newports, maybe?).
It looked still wet, like a puddle of blue ink.
With the chrome buffed out, Cad sombreros w/red medallion insert, and a light gray/silver interior I think it'd look great.

I'm thinking silver. A mercedes silver with a small flake added. You could do a pearl white top with a silver bottom. That'd be classy. Silver metal flake interior, red steelies with sombreo caps. Some simple and clean pinstriping.
