I know this is a lot to ask from someone who basically never posts, but I can't find my copy of Old Car Price Guide and was wondering if anyone could post a scan or a pic of the page for 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury. I'm looking for guidance on value of car with factory 4-speed, 383, convertible. Sorry to have to ask but we're moving and everything is packed or lost, and the local library doesn't have this in reference. I appreciate any help. Thanks.
In my OLD CARS REPORT price guide I received today it states:Sports Fury w/V8 covert in #3 condition 12,150 #2 18,900 #1 27,000 on the down #4 5,400 #5 3,240 #6 1,080 add 60% for 383 Commando engine option, nothing about 4-speed. Hope this helps. "come as a spectator,leave as a spectacle"
The Nada Guides site gives a choice of 4 speed. Prices from low to high are: <TABLE id=ctl00_ctl01_ucValues_tblSummary cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=1><TBODY><TR><TD class=summaryFooterVDP align=right>$6,544</TD><TD style="WHITE-SPACE: nowrap" align=right>$11,689 </TD><TD class=summaryFooterVDP align=right>$19,320</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
If you want a "real world" figure a dark blue '65 Sport Fury convertible that was very nice, not perfect but very nice, just sold at a biannual collector car auction by me for $10,500.00. Now this car was an all original car and had an automatic but hopefully this will give you something to go on.
