What is the difference in a 32 Ford truck cowl and a 33/34 cowl? i am talking about the cowl used on school buses and other similar cowls. I know the firewall is separate on the 32.

the firewall and the dash are the only differences that I'm aware of.

I had a 34 and the roof bolted onto that one. There is no difference in the cowl itself, just the firewalls are different other than the bodyline on the back of the cab and the dash.

    Thanks for the replies.
I must have not been clear as I was asking for the difference in a truck cowl, also used on roadster pickups, at least 32. I saw a very good one at a swap meet and couldn't remember if the feature lines were the same for the open 32 as the 33/34.
I am aware of the differences in the 32 firewall versus the 33/34, as well as the minor differences in the closed truck cabs.
Should have bought the cowl as it was fairly priced and I've wanted a 32 rpu, but not the Brookville one.
    Oh well.

They are the same, but look at tommy's picture... The riser under the windshield was not used on the commercial cowls, rather there were a series of holes drilled for other ws options. Other than the firewall, they are identical. Yes you should have bought it if it was fairly priced!

YEa, those stanchions should be the same. I had one from a fire truck, and it didn't have the ws riser or stanchions like that but was otherwise identical as near as I could tell. I think jreeder41 has it now.
