Looking forward to the long trip in, the Divco. I'm not even going to talk about gas mileage. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I have travled I75 south thru Atl, to Fla 10 east, many time's. The last trip I took, 95 to 77 thru Ohio. It was a nice drive. Listed below are three route's from Google. I was thinking of driving #1 Anybody along the route, I can yell out to, if needed. . 1,115 mi, 18 hours 56 mins I-77 S and I-95 S 1,147 mi, 19 hours 12 mins I-75 S 1,162 mi, 19 hours 24 mins I-75 S and I-95 S . Below are links to pics of the truck, for those you that have not seem it. .
I can't help much with travel recommendations.....but just want to say how nice a build you did with the Divco. I have long been a fan of these iconic vehicles, though I have never (yet) owned one....but you did a fabulous job retaining the integrity of the vehicle while making the desired changes. Congtas and have a fun and safe trip. Ray
All I have to add to this is I-75 ****s! at least in Michigan it does..been a while since I did the Fla. to Mi run
Well, I live within a few miles on the I-77 and I-26 intersection. You can get off I-95 near Hardeevlle SC and get on Hwy 321 ... and it goes thru small towns and rural areas. Speed Limit is 55 MPH most places. I much prefer this route over the boring interstate. Hwy 321 will take you to the entrance/exit of I-77. It is actually a shorter distance. Check the map. Hwy 321 used to be the main route to Florida before the interstate came to South Carolina ... and it is still a decent road.
Sharp truck !!!!! Im about 25 miles off I 75 near Cartersvill GA. Send a pm if you want a phone# just in case you need help.Glad to help in any way................YG
