Projects Does your T5 sound like this?

lol, naw dont feel bad. i myself was not sure if i was just being a paranoid whiner, just it did not sound or seem right.

 

well, with 5th engaged, the 5th gear on the output contacts and rubs on the shift fork, its slight, but it does, and has gauged it a bit, some of the metal is surely from there

 

If it's any consolation, after all is said and done, at least you will know your car inside and out. That's gotta be worth something......................
