You will have to cut the tunnel and most likely the rear wheel wells unless you're planning on putting some little lowrider type of wheels on it. If you haven't already swapped the rear end out for an open-drive one now would be the time.

i had to raise my tunnel from the rear of my front seat towards the back.. i didnt have to cut out my fender wells because im running 14's... but im not laying frame either.. mine is a couple inches off the ground.. but if anything happens like a bag going out, at least im not going to slam on the ground.. this is how mine sits all aired out. i can drive it this low too.. good luck!

I cut and raised the rear wheel wells in order to get it this low.

    Good luck.

Laying frame doesn't do that much for me. This is, IMO the perfect bag job for a '51.

I like the thought of a 2 link... so you don't have to get into the rear seat area!

For those two that like the 2 link, were you thinking trailing arms off of a chevy pickup? Or making your own? I am weighing doing gambino's 4 link and a two link off of a pickup or something like Jimenez Bros' kit.

I'd give my left nut for this car. It's absolutely perfect in my eyes.[IMG]

Here's my chassis . Not too hard to modify the rear seat nor do the tunnel. I think a small tunnel or big , they almost end up being the sane amount of work ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1385700790.440936.jpg
