Blower help mechanical fan pictures

    Ok so i want a real vintage set-up here.Cragar intake 4-71 and i want a mech fan too,so i need pictures of anyones car that has this set-up please...................Marq

    I think you are looking at making a spacer to get the fan away from the blower belt,have you got room inbetween the motor and the rad??

    you'll see if you are going to Billing,i and the truck will be there from saturday morning but i think i might with a short pump.....Marq

    Gonna TRY and go up on the sunday with the bike so I will have a look then,see if we can come up with an answer.

    might help as eventually gona put a caddy in but the bits i need are rockin horse poo to get so i gonna do chevy till i can find the bits for caddy......Marq.........my number is 07748845082

    ok, this is the best I can do at the moment,
    here's my setup on the dummy motor
    the stock water pump, pulley and generator will share one belt
    and the blower will use three
    the stock lower pulley goes away and the four groove lower pulley takes all four belts
    the fan will need about an inch and a half spacer to move it out in front of the blower pulley..


    does this look anything like your setup?

    yep thats gonna be my type of set-up.I have a gmc 4-71 blower and pretty much everything original.What would you sugest to do with the timing because as i understand it as the blower cuts in the compression goes up and sometimes the timing needs retarding.............Marq
