Completed the last of the metal work around the firewall, scuttle and inner guards. This work was carried out to replace the badly rusted front clip. The support members were replaced with 100X75X2.6mm R.H.S and all of the panels were replaced with 2mm panel steel. The modifications to the firewall outside of the frame rails was to allow the installation of a late model heater/demister and airconditioning system. When completed the conventional steering will be replaced by a power rack system from a late model Holden Commodore, hence the additional cross member behind the K frame.
