Young guy from Alabama. Loved older cars since I can remember and now finally have enough money to dable in a project car or two. Unfortunately I am currently a diesel tech my trade and have worked in or for the military since high school. Working on my 5th year in the middle east out of 8 hasn't helped with hand on learning. I bought a '40 Chevy coupe last year while in Afghanistan to find that the floor boards where totally shot once I got home. I just bought a '49 New Yorker that has put the '40 coupe on the back burner for now. Can find relatively no information on the 323 I-8 flathead. Looking forward to learning as much as I can about older cars and hot rods.
