I'm positive most of you guys can ID this thing so I won't ask who can ID it, just what is it?

SROD 4 speed Ford

 

i would say its a 3spd out of a 70 or so fairlane

 

If it helps at all the steel tag riveted to the case has HEF CV 016435

Ford 3-speed. Only 2 shift levers.

65-68 full size Ford 240 six through 390 4V

 

built in January 1965. Case casting number is for full size car, but it was probably used in smaller cars and trucks also.

 

Strange. I googled it a while back and zilch. Found it fast this time. Hahaa.
