I have an in-line electric fuel pump on a 1998 carbureted vortec 350. It has about 300-330hp. My pump had gone out and i can't read the lable anymore. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
Go to ur local auto zone or whatever parts store and ask for a fuel pimp for a 80s chevy truck and will show u a mechanical and electric option. Part number sp8012u. Throws 5-9 psi.
Black pump is an awful lot of pump for a 300 hp small block. A red pump will probably feed it fine, a blue may be a better upgrade if you want to upgrade a bit. The red is their street pump and the blue is the street strip pump.
Holley red puts out a steady 7 lbs of fuel pressure....internally regulated.......I think that's what you need......about $120 @ Summit... CB

Airtex #8016S, around $60 at Advance, 7# pressure, is what I'm running on my '38 Ford pickup with 307 and 600 Holley. Does the job fine.
i bought a Carter 4070 because everyone was saying how quiet they were. not too quiet in my opinion. it running tho so ill keep it i guess
Electric pumps are not quiet, some make more noise than others. If you rubber mount it you will loose a little of the noise.
