I am trying to post pics of my finished Hambster, but have been struggling for an hour and a half.

I paid $2.99 to photobucket and only1,256 keystrokes later I had my pics in there.

    Still failed to attach photos.

    Me or what?

    Thanks,

    Butch N***au

Not familiar with the 'Bucket, but Flickr requires my photos to be set (one of the privacy settings) for public viewing before I can post'em. Perhaps?

From Photobucket - free photo bucket.

Bring up the pic you want in PBucket, find the view links tab, select the last one, shold start with http: and end with jpg[IMG]

That should copy it and then paste it into the post.

    Okay, okay, I got it.

I'm caught in and Egyptian science fiction novel...right?

I mean starts with IMG and ends with jpg etc.

    But I'm not giving up.

Here's what happens. I click on the paper clip and get a screen that drops down and has a bunch of boxes that "browse."

Is that where I should be??

If so where is the p/b link?

    Thanks,

    Butch

  6. When I go from photo bucket, I copy direct from photo bucket window and paste into a HAMB window.
If you are using manage attachments tab on the HAMB, I could only do that with pics that were downloaded onto my computer.

  7. you aint alone i cant post pics either. a red x shows up when i try to.

On P Bucket, I copy the address of the one that says "Direct link" (3rd one down on the list I think).

On the toolbar at the top of the box you type in (reply or compose pane) there is a ****on that looks like a picture of mountains, punch that, paste the link you copied earlier into the box that shows up, and it should make the picture show up on the page.

The problem I usually have, is the box that pops up has some stuff already in it (http://) and it doesn't always delete automatically, so I delete it manually (select it, push delete, good to go :) ).

Best of luck to you, the other thread you have has a lovely picture in it. :)

  10. go to your album on PB

on the picture you want to post, left click on the direct link
(it should say copied, once you've done that)

now in the quick reply box, there's the yellow icon with mtns and sun,
    click on it.

Now once that window comes up, right click on the turquoise portion (it'll say http/) and choose paste. That should post pictures for you.

    Hope that helps

Old Jimmy Six -- Go to the bottom of the list page and in the "From The" box put in 100 days and it will come up. The treads that have no resent posts fall to the bottom and you have to expand the size to find older posts. Tom
