I am in the process of wiring my 55 chevy, which I love doing wiring. But, I am needing the wiring block that plugs into the headlight switch and the block that plugs into the back of the ignition switch. I have the headlight and ignition switch wired in with spade terminals, but I do not feel comfortable leaving the spade terminals, they could vibrate loose. Is there a source for the factory type pigtails? Thanks,Matt

if it has the original 55 switches, then you just need to use single connector terminals, because that's all they used. Might have had one three prong connector on the ignition switch, but that's it.

55-56 is not like the later models, that had molded plastic housings for all the wires.

Yep, just single terminal connections on the ignition. You can buy the female 3-prong headlight pigtails at Autozone or Advance Auto. I'm looking for the male 3-prong myself and haven't had much luck. Thinking I'll just engineer something myself to use.

edit: misread your post, you weren't looking for the headlight pigtails. Both switches use single terminal connectors.
