According to my wife-yes. Personally, I don't think so but here I am, 2:00 in the afternoon on a work day and I take time out to check my PM's and respond to a thread.

JC:I started using about six months ago. It started on my Myspace, a gateway drug if there ever was one. I requested some info from a car club out of DFW. They refered me here, where I envitably got hooked up with local users. Sure we'd hang out and talk about other stuff, but eventually, the conversation would land back on the HAMB-when was the last time we checked it, who was on, what was posted, when were we going to get back on and post pictures of us hanging out, talking about the HAMB. I know I'm sick, but I got it under control for now...I think.

 

Remember that one dude that got FIRED fo surfing the HAMB too much at work? That was sad.

Although I don't post much (lack of any projects cuts down my useful input), I read the HAMB like a fiend. I've learned more in the two years I've been following things here than I could have ever imagined. Hopefully, when circumstances finally allow for a project, I'll be able to put all of this to good use.

 

I'm not sure it's an obsession (yet) but I sure like it alot!
(I check about 4 times a day suring the week)
It's the only way I'd hear opinions from all over the world..I've gotten to chat with people that had way more knowledge, and understanding of "our style" than anybody that lives near me.

Yes it is. I only lurked on here two times before I HAD to join up. I don't post very much, but I spend at least a couple of hours a day on the HAMB.

 

I come here 8-12 times a day to check it out for a few minutes.

I love it it,s like crack. I'm affraid it is. I forgot what I used to use my computer for. If I could only get off the Hamb and work on my truck I'd be on the road. Learn alot though.
