Anyone ever mount a 46 Chevy truck on a newer chassis ???

    Looking to mount a 46 Chevy truck cab on a newer chassis,like a metric or an S-10 . Anyone have any tips ??? Your help would be appreciated . JC

    Just use the stock frame with updated front and rear suspension and all will be well with your world.

    There is a man in town with a '46 on a newer monte carlo frame ......looks like sheeeeeeet. I can't tell ya about it because he won't let anybody close to it. But it was mounted on it, i think it needed lowered.

    IF YOU USE A S-10 MAKE IT THE LONG WHEEL BASE.

    Thats what i did with my '40. Channeled 4" with full fenders & boards.

    S-10 frame swaps are NOT what the HAMB is about.

    If you are new and want learn, ask a different question: "How can I put my '46 Chevy back on the road?", "What can I do to improve the steering on my '46 Chevy?"

    If you just want to drive a car that looks like a '46 Chevy, go away...
