Hello from North Alabama!

Hello all! I'm kind of new to the hamb (been reading more then I have been posting! heh). A brief introduction about myself: I'm 28 yrs old, welder/fabricator by trade and love to do it! I guess that what makes hot rodding and welding such a pair; endless possibilities in creativity!

I bought a couple of months ago a 54' Chevy 3100 for $500. No motor no tranny, pretty well complete. A later model frame-late 60's-70's model I believe that has been jerry rigged on the set-up on the frame it sits on now. I have been working on it as much as my free time permits. My plans is to have a nice cruiser/driver truck that I can just drive the piss out of with fellow rodders/cruisers alike!

Hoping to meet fellow alabamer/hambers/others as well with project builds of their own! So a big hello from Alabama! Glad to be a part of this great social rodding society!

Where in north Alabama? My wife is from Gadsden, went to school at Jacksonville, friends who are like family at Alexandria. Looking forward to the Piedmont show in March, one of the best small town car shows in this area.

 

Oh yes--lest I forget--Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and Ozelle the '55 Ford send friendly horn honks.
