Hey guys Taking a chance and hoping someone knows who owns this truck. Anyhow if anyone has any information i would greatly appreciate it. Take care.
If it were my truck, I'd have to ask you why you want to know? A lot of missing cars as of late, just saying!
Gasser Steve, I think you may be confusing that truck with Dennis Eaton's truck. His was the earlier style grill, but about the same patina and door art style. I'm pretty syre I have seen this truck at a small hot rod shop up on north Cave Creek road, but I can't tell you who the owner is. if I see it tomorrow at Glendale, I'll do my best to run him down and get some contact for you.
http://www.classictrucks.com/features/0708ct_1948_chevy_truck_high_road/viewall.html Maybe a family member or close friend? I remember there were a couple of these trucks built in the same style at GG Scottsdale a couple years ago. Could have been Dennis' and the one the OP posted?
Found the builder of Dennis' truck http://www.macsgarage.biz/3/Artist.asp?ArtistID=31694&AKey=VWLPV9GM
Nope, different trucks. the builder of Dennis's truck was out of Santa Rosa NM. I think this one is out of a small shop at Cave Creek and about Greenway area... Maybe.
Kinda makes you wish people still put actual businesses and contact info on their "shop trucks", don't it?
Yeah like when you run up to the ice cream truck and ask for a missle pop... but the guy says he doesn't have any missle pops... then you point at the picture of the missle pop on the side of the truck... and the guy says I don't have missle pops and try's to push a sponge bob square pants with chewing gum eyeballs on you... man I hate that.
Didn't see that truck around this weekend, sorry. I'll be looking around in the next couple of weeks, 'cause it's on around here! Until about April, there is something every weekend, usually several events.
I know of rush. I'm thinking we know some people from there. My dad runs a rural phone company here in dodge
