Clutch Pressure Plate test?

    How can I test if the one I have is good? It's from a '50 Ford flathead.

    I'd try a local clutch shop,... worth some $$ to know ,.and have them rebuild it, if necessary. Save some work later, should it develop any issues.

    I just had mine done from an 8BA. they dis***embled it and tested each spring to make sure they were in spec, ground the surface area flat and they also replaced the three contact points and cleaned it up like new. Cost around $85 here in Phoenix. well worth not having to pull the t5 trans after its installed.
