has anyone noticed that the old 1/4 scale invisible engine looks very much like the 311 365 390 cadillac engines? the water pump is dead on. the exhause ports are the same and the way the rocker shafts look is all caddy. tell me i am dreaming.

it's close.. more like a 49 since the Starter is on the driver side.. the bell housing looks a little like it too..

I would think more like Studebaker because of the fuel pump position...maybe

Sorry, but the name is VISIBLE V8.
I think Invisible V8 was the name of a very bad 1960s horror/beach/beatnik/Hotrod movie.

Fuel pump is on the wrong side for a Packard. Of course if you can't see it, who cares?
