I just drove to Tennessee to pick up a banger, while on the way haom A friend mentioned that I was within 1 hour of Dales Wheels Through Time museaum. That go me thinking that I should put a map of the US up on the shop wall and note places I should visit with thumb tacks N a list so when I travel I can see whats near thats worth seeing.

Then Naturally I need things & places to fill that list so what better place to get help and post the list thean the HAMB board?

So here it is, I ask you all, Where are places that the mechanically minded need to visit across the US and even outside the US?

I've been tot he Coolsprings Power Museum, Did 2 weeks on the Isle of Man for the vintage motorcycle races, etc.... what else is ther ( I knoe, Alot! ) But I'm thinking of a mechanically minded travellers guide, good vintage junkyards, collections, events etc...

    Any help for this?

    Cheers!

I did the same thing about a year before I visited Australia, had a large map of the country with push pins in it. Really helped in planning my route thru the country.
