Greetings to all, While surfing for info for a 1938 dodge coupe I came upon this site so I had to signed up. My father in law has this 38 dodge that's been in his building for a good 25 years. His intentions were to someday get her back on the road, but due to his health he is unable to begin the rebuild. It has no engine and trans the floor has rusted out for the most part, needs a right front fender and the rockers need to be replaced. I come to realize that parts for this particular year are scarce and hard to come by. Hopefully with the help I get on the HAMB I'll be able to save one from the s**** yard and I hope the old man sticks around long enough to give him a nice cruise down the road. Thanks Vidal
Welcome from New Mexico! Great idea to give your Pop a ride in his 'dream' car! BTW, avoid the term "rat rod;" it's frowned upon around here. "Traditional" is what this site is about. Good luck!
Thanks Old&Low, I appreciate the welcome. At this point I'm not sure what I'll build, but one thing for sure she won't end up in China and coming back as Harbor Freight ****. Thanks again
