hey pete... you want pics of older tunnel rammed cad motors or the larger CI engines?

Here's the one in my model A the motor was a 73 eldo motor 500ci,the manifold is a one off made from steel sheetmetal. The big tall nasty looking tunnel rams that fit the Ford 428 type motors can be put on the big caddy with adapters.

Yeah....she's all for a more-than-2-seater car. And I'm all about having something that's faster than Steve's. (Hope he doesn't read that!)

I know a few guys, who know some people, who might build high horsepower caddy engines. I could hook you up with a couple of numbers...

(Just don't tell Steve I helped you)

Mad Cad--I am going to run a 500 cid (or a 425, maybe) cad engine in my '29 tudor. I'd be interested in more pics of how you mounted the motor--what difficulties did you encounter? What trans you running, a TH400? Thanks.

I think its 429-460 Ford manifolds that can be modified or adapted to a Cad engine. 428 ain't even close!..........OLDBEET

Here's a few, from a guy named Potter out of TN. He runs www.cadillacpermanceparts.com. A buddy of mine locally is building one, using the last intake pictured below. I think when it's all said and done, it'll be over 512cid, making 500+hp and 600+lb-ft of torque. Neat motors!

    Sorry for their monstrous size...

Oh- the Boogie Man intake has an alternate top, that'll let you bolt on a huge roots blower.

Buddy of mine built one for his Pulling truck. Lots of money in it though, he gave almost $3k just for the heads...
