I think Steve is going to bring Anthony's coupe out for this deal. Just came from his shop and we set the body on this afternoon...

Hope to get back from Tucson and over there before noon.

They moved the start time up this year I think.

 

Show times are 10 Am to 3PM.

George suggested move in between 8:30 and 9

 

I think so too!! Will be there tomorrow!!

Great picts Bonesy! Hot Rod Ron and I bugged out a bit early at 12:00, but it was a great show and a good time! I didn't see your car there, 'cause I was going to look you up and say Hi! I just wish we could get George to push it back a bit later in the day so that a good chunk of the local crew could get back up from the Tucson swap in time. Thanks for the pictures!

 

The hardest car to get around all day - people were lined up deep to look at it. Sorry for the crappy picture.

I might mention that 3 window in the last picture that was so hard to photograph is the one that ElPollacko is building for a fellow H.A.M.B.er in his thread "Building a M/Fing hot rod!" I had my louver stuff there too... We were inundated for the first hour or two this morning!

 

I went over and introduced myself, but like you said the little tent was buzzing. Hopefully you all drummed up some business! It sure looked like it.

 

Yep! lot's of "kissing hands and shaking babies"... As I've always put it! (but maybe I have that backwards) I still can't believe I walked right past your car a couple of times and didn't think to look around for you. In my defense, I was trying to find a customer of mine to propose a motorcycle deal to, so I was a bit concentrated on other things.

I think your car was the hit of the show. There were three people deep around it every time I went to look at it. It's going to be outstanding when completed.
